Tara Linda sings & plays plays in several projects and can be booked solo, duo/trio, or with a full band.
Solo & with the band "Blue Fur Monkeys": Original jazzy blues, train songs, desert cabaret and early torch. Instruments: bass, accordion, guitar, violin/horn & percussion/drums.
Luna Nueva: "Tex-Mex for the New Wild West."
Global Latin and South Texas roots. Songs from the "New Moon" CD include covers by Lydia Mendoza, the women of South Texas, old and new boleros, rancheras, cumbias, tangos. Band members include Gilberto Reyes (vocals, accordion, bajo sexto, bass); Tara (bass, vocals, percussion, accordion), Pete Hernandez (bajo sexto, accordion), & Jeff Hobbs (violin, trumpet, cornet).
